About “Temas Regionales”
“Temas Regionales” is a publication of the Corporación de Estudios y Desarrollo Norte Grande in collaboration with the Faculty of Administration and Economics of the Universidad de Tarapacá, which presents original and unpublished studies by academics, professionals and university students, belonging to public or private entities.
Who we are
“Temas Regionales" is a scientific journal published continuously, available at www.temaseregionales.cng.cl. The journal may publish special issues dedicated to topics of high interest.
Scope and Editorial Policy
The Editorial Committee will be responsible for authorizing the publication of works after consulting with peer reviewers, the content of which will be the sole responsibility of their authors. Articles cannot be simultaneously submitted for review to other media outlets. The journal is published free of charge in digital format.
The Corporación de Estudios y Desarrollo Norte Grande is the owner of the journal, its registration and the intellectual property of its publications. The original articles received for evaluation are recognized as confidential information and protected by the Intellectual Property Law.
The journal has an open access policy, under the principle of free availability of research results to the general public. The only limitation in terms of replicability and distribution is that the authors of the journal must be given control over the integrity of their work and the right to be properly acknowledged and cited from the work published in the journal “Temas Regionales.
The journal “Temas Regionales” adheres to the Budapest Open Access Initiative (OAI). It adheres to the principles of Open Science and supports the use by authors of the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) Principles for the management of scientific data.
In the event that the author authorizes the publication of research data openly in his/her own repositories, he/she should inform this directly in his/her manuscript, citing the source or repository and/or communicate in writing his/her intention to publish the data openly by declaring it in writing to the editor.
Authors are allowed to publish their manuscripts, methodology, research data, in their own institutional repositories or in their institutional open access (OA) or open science (OS) websites, before and during the process of submission of their work for evaluation in the journal "Temas Regionales", and to publish the PDF corresponding to the final version of their work published in the journal “Temas Regionales", citing the source, after publication, in their respective institutional repositories, without any embargo period.
