Responsibilities of the Editorial Board

– The editorial committee is obliged to guarantee the quality of the published material, as well as to apply objective criteria at all times and exclude any type of discrimination related to race, gender, sexual orientation, and religious beliefs.

– The editorial committee must safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of the information provided by the journal's contributors.

– The editorial committee is prohibited from using unpublished material for personal, group, or institutional benefit without the consent of the corresponding contributors.

– The editorial committee commits to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions, or apologies if necessary.

– The editorial committee guarantees anonymity in the peer review of the material received.

– It is the editorial committee's responsibility to promptly inform authors of the results of the evaluation of their work.

Reviewer Responsibilities

– Reviewers agree to apply clear and objective criteria to their reviews, and to exclude any discrimination based on the race, gender, sexual orientation, and religious beliefs of contributors.

– Reviewers agree to treat the material entrusted to them confidentially. Discussing or commenting on the material with third parties is prohibited during the evaluation period.

– Reviewers will be disqualified from participating in the evaluation in the event of a conflict of interest.

– Reviewers are prohibited from making any use of the entrusted materials during the evaluation, selection, and publication periods.

Author Responsibilities

– Contributors must submit a separate declaration guaranteeing the reliability of the information with their article submissions.

– Authors must guarantee the originality of the submitted materials.

– “Temas Regionales” does not accept previously published works, regardless of the format.

– “Temas Regionales” actively rejects any type of plagiarism, whether partial or total. Authors must rigorously ensure that they attribute their citations to their sources, in accordance with the journal's guidelines.

– It is the sole responsibility of the authors to submit their materials in the format required by the journal. The journal reserves the right to reject submissions that do not comply with its submission guidelines.

The names and email addresses entered on the journal´s website will be used exclusively for the purposes established by “Temas Regionales” and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any third party.
