Instructions for authors
It is recommended to send articles as electronic manuscripts in Word. Once your work has been accepted, you will be sent instructions on the format for publication.
There will be no charge for submission, editing or publication.
Manuscript style
Submissions must be written in English or Spanish. Approved articles will be published in their original language. All submitted manuscripts must be typed on one side, with wide margins and double-spaced. Submissions should be no longer than 25 pages, including tables, graphs, a bibliography, and a title page. The first page should include the following information: the title of the article in lowercase; the name, address, and affiliation of the author(s); and an abstract of no more than 100 words. Include the JEL classification (“Journal of Economic Literature”) and up to five keywords that describe your article for indexing purposes.
In general, they should be brief and precise in the idea they represent, with a maximum of 40 words.
Each author's first and last name must be included, along with their affiliation and a note indicating their institution. The address and email address of at least one corresponding author must be included, identified with an asterisk. The corresponding author is responsible for maintaining a fluid dialogue between the other authors and the editorial team.
In accordance with international standards and ethics, the author participated in the design, execution, and analysis of the experiments, as well as in the writing of the paper, and should therefore be able to answer any questions regarding the study.
Its maximum length should be 100 words. It includes the importance of the research topic, objectives, investigation, results, and conclusions. This section of the manuscript must include the JEL classification; a summary/abstract written in English must also be included, in addition to the language in which the original was written.
Maximum 5; They are used to create databases and content indexes.
It shall include the importance of the research, shall be placed in context of the investigation, and present the related literature. It concludes with a paragraph outlining the research objectives.
It must contain sufficient information to allow other researchers to replicate the work.
Results and analysis should be clear and concise, supported by tables, figures, statistical analyses, and reports from other researchers.
It must clearly establish the main experimental results that respond to the research objectives.
They should be as limited in quantity and length as possible, and numbered consecutively. Avoid including formulas in footnotes.
They must be numbered consecutively. When the derivation of a formula has been condensed, an additional page must be included with the complete derivation.
They must be numbered and include all necessary information for interpretation, as well as the data sources. If the manuscript is accepted, tables and figures must be editable, and the authors must provide the necessary information for replication. The use of images and colors in tables and graphs should be avoided.
Please be advised that papers must include a summary/abstract in English, in addition to its original language.
References should be cited in the text as follows:
Anders (1992). If three or more authors are mentioned in the reference list, cite them in the text as: Callander et al. (2022)
The author is responsible for the exact correspondence between the names and year of the reference and what appears in the reference section.
References should appear at the end of the article in alphabetical order and in the following style:
